LARGO, FLA. (August 10, 2026)Cypress Palms, located on The Palms of Largo campus and managed by The Goodman Group, is excited to introduce Cognova’s Seated Rhythm™ and Tap Time™ classes for residents and older adults in the local area to enjoy. Bringing an engaging blend of music, movement, rhythm and choreographed seated dance exercises, the classes are designed to support cognitive vitality, mobility and quality of life while encouraging participants to stay active and foster meaningful social interaction.

The Seated Rhythm™ and Tap Time™ courses are led by certified instructors and inspired by traditional ballroom and tap dance movements. Created to meet participants where they are, the classes are a wonderful activity for all seniors and are thoughtfully adapted for individuals living with Alzheimer’s, other forms of dementia or Parkinson’s.

“Our team at Cypress Palms is thrilled to introduce Cognova’s innovative classes to our community,” said Melissa Wojewnik, executive director of Cypress Palms. “These sessions bring a unique opportunity for participants to celebrate progress, enjoy the benefits of dance and grow together. We look forward to watching friendships and connections flourish from this program.”
