LARGO, Fla. (September 1, 2020) – Executive Director Victor Piperata at Cypress Palms at The Palms of Largo located in Largo, Fla., has been awarded the Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Administrator of the Year Award by the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) for his leadership efforts to improve the lives of residents through quality care and personalized services.
The FHCA Long Term Care Achievement Awards recognize long term care leaders who display exceptional acts of service and commitment to the residents and staff members in their community. The annual Administrator of the Year Award recognizes two leaders in both the Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility categories.
“[Victor] knows how to empower his team members and keep them engaged, and under his leadership the facility continues to develop innovative programming to ensure its residents have excellent care and an enriching living experience,” said Marco Carrasco, FHCA’s senior vice president. “His leadership skills have helped build a team of excellence at his facility.”
The Florida Health Care Association was established in 1954 by individuals who were committed to shaping and improving senior living care in Florida. The FHCA’s vision is to advance the quality of services and professional support for its members as well as ensure the well-being of Florida’s senior residents who receive long-term care. The FHCA is a state affiliate of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) in Washington D.C.
The 2020 Long Term Care Achievement Awards will be presented during the FHCA 2020 Virtual Conference on Aug. 18-20, 2020.
